SuperNETs is an IRC network founded in early 2015 by an amalgam of individuals aiming to provide a secure, anonymous, censorship-free, public environment for communication.
It is an entirely free service that allows you to communicate with others at ease whilst maintaining a level of privacy. All of the services running on our servers will store zero logs and/or private information about its users.
We are not constituents to any group, collective, or organization, nor do we claim to be one. We reserve the right to deny service to anyone at any time for any reason.
Everyone is welcome to be a part of SuperNETs, but please be aware that we are not a PG-13 network by any means. All communications are censorship-free, and we take very little moderation into praxis, so explicit content may be prevalent.
The IRCd has stopped using IRCS and adopted the use of Anope for services. See our help page for information on service related commands.
HTTPS has been disabled on the webserver and all SSL certificates that are used on the IRCd will be self-signed.
An XMPP service is in active development which will soon be made for public usage on both our clearnet and hidden service address.
A revamp of the web design and the content hosted on the web server has been completed. The design should be mobile friendly now and fit nice on any sized screen through the use of the bootstrap & jquery libraries.
The IRCd is now using the DroneBL in conjunction with the EFnet RBL to automatically block incoming IRC connections from hosts known to be abusive. The DNSbl provided by dan.me.uk has recently been added to automatically block incoming IRC connections from Tor exit nodes. Tor connections are still allowed, but only through the hidden service address.
